Wilson Medical Rehabilitation Center Hosts Annual Winter Gift-Giving Event, Brings Holiday Cheer to Wilson County

Our incredible team at the Rehab Center is excited to announce the return of its annual Winter Gift-Giving event! For over two decades, this heartfelt initiative has touched the lives of local children in need during the holiday season. Last year, the program grew to include holiday gifts for residents at Morningstar Care Homes in Neodesha and Fredonia, as well as Neodesha Care & Rehab, spreading even more joy throughout the community.

Program Overview

Formerly known as the Adopt-A-Child Program, the Winter Gift-Giving Event brings together community members to make the holiday season special for children and area assisted living residents. Here’s how you can make a difference:

Wish List Completion:

Eligible parents and guardians can pick up an application at the Rehab Center to complete a wish list for their child. All wish lists must be returned by November 15.

Ways for the Community to Get Involved:

• Gift Tag Pick-Up: Starting November 18, stop by the Rehab Center at 604 Main to select a gift tag from our tree.
• Purchase a Gift: Shop for a gift and bring the unwrapped item to the Rehab Center by December 6.
• Senior Resident Donations: Check out gift ideas for senior residents at local assisted living facilities by visiting our Facebook page. Drop off donations at 604 Main before December 6.
• Monetary Donations: No time to shop? Donate via cash or check, and our team will take care of the gift-buying for you!
