Wilson Medical Center Unveils New Chapel, Courtesy of the Peck Family

We are proud to unveil our beautiful new chapel, thanks to the Peck Family. This serene space offers patients, visitors, and staff a tranquil haven to find peace and solace during their time at the hospital.

In memory of Loren and Romona Peck, the new chapel, designed by Chanda Shelton, seamlessly blends modern design with timeless tranquility. Soft lighting, comfortable seating, and a soothing color palette create an atmosphere of calm, inviting all who enter to pause and reflect. The entry door, a stunning stained-glass window, casts a gentle glow, adding to the sense of serenity.

“Our family is so grateful to everyone who donated money to create this beautiful space for the patients, families, emergency responders, and employees of Wilson Medical Center,” said Terry Peck. “When Mom was in her last days in the hospital, Dad would find a room in the hospital to pray. He wanted to create a chapel for everyone to have that opportunity. We didn’t know we were going to lose him a few weeks later. So, thank you to everyone for making this happen. Our hearts are full.”
